The Chinese curriculum for Non-Chinese students enables students to develop:

2. understanding and make use of written and spoken forms of the target language, in a range of familiar and practical contexts, and for a variety of purposes,

3. the ability to communicate effectively in the target language through the written word and speaking, using a range of vocabulary and structures,

4. positive attitudes towards modern foreign language learning.
