Science
At GP, we provide students with diverse and engaging learning experiences such as experiments, dissections, educational visits, workshops, and online activities. These opportunities not only help students master scientific knowledge and skills across different Key Learning Areas (KLAs) but also foster an understanding of the connections between science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). Additionally, they promote positive values and attitudes, preparing students for personal growth and meaningful contributions to a scientific and technological world.
Our Science curriculum focuses on developing students’ understanding of key scientific concepts while emphasizing the importance of science in technological advancements and its impact on society and the environment. Through the Science, Technology, Society, and Environment (STSE) strand, students explore real-world applications of scientific knowledge and its relationship with other STEM disciplines, encouraging a holistic and contextual understanding.
Our school places strong emphasis on scientific investigation, equipping students with essential process skills and fostering a deeper understanding of the nature of science. This approach nurtures curiosity, enhances scientific knowledge, and empowers students to make informed decisions about science-related issues in their daily lives.
This comprehensive approach ensures our students are well-prepared for the challenges of a rapidly evolving world, with a strong sense of responsibility toward society and the environment.
